maf relocation on 2g

Default maf relocation on 2g

what would it take to relocate my maf sensor to be able to change my blow off valve to atmospherical rather than recirculated? any websites/ products would help

you're talking about a blow through set up. You need a GM maf, a maf translator, and a way to mount it into your intercooler piping after the BOV.

for a blow thru,you would need this as well right?? blow thru intake pipe what is the benefit of a blow thru? i thought this maf kit was the same thing as the blow thru setup,so now i know its not,what is that good for and how is it different from a blow thru,i know they both use a gm maf,but please please help me understand what all that is good for.....thanks!

Blow through basically means that all of the air is blown though the maf rather then sucked passed the sensor. It wont fix your vent issue though, when you lift your foot off the gas the ecu automatically adds fuel. The maf has nothing to do with the adding of fuel, it dosent even see that specific body of air, its just expected to be there. A blow though benifits cars that use bpv's or surge valves like supercharger setups. For example 2003-2003.5 msp's stock bpv's surges air into the intake while under load which the computer adds fuel to compensate. And when you try to add a aftermarket bov the car will stutter or not even start so people opt for a dual bov/bpv setup or a blow through setup. If you want to fix your venting problem: vent and learn how to powershift with out taking your foot off the gas, get a stand alone and make your own fuel map, or get a dual release bov.
