Cool manual help

so heres my issue. i have a 95 eclipse gs, 2.0 non turbo 5 speed. i can shift into first, second, fifth and reverse, but wont shift into third and fourth. i did a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, checked my transaxle fluid, i dont see any visible kinks in the shift linkage. had a hope that maybe my shifter was binding somehow, so i installed a short throw shifter under the thought that if i have to fix it, why not go with performance parts (haha). anyway, if anyone has been thru this, or just has a better clue than i do which wouldnt require much (again haha), i would be forever indebted.

Go to a shop or mechanic and ask them what it could be, then make a checklist and find out what is isnt. That's all l can say man, did you grind those gears before? And has your gear box ever been looked at

Your car comes stock with the 420a Engine, I think talons, eclipses, sebrings, Chrysler neons all have the same one
