Default Mass Air Sensor

I was looking to get a cold air intake and the one I was looking at said it would work on my engine if it had a mass air sensor. I was just wondering what exactly this sensor is and if I have one. It's a 99 Eclipse GS with a 2.0L non turbo 420A. The engine is stock for the most part. And ifI do I have one where exactly would it be?

Well if don't have an MAS then where would I get one, about how much would it be, and how hard is to install...I'm not the most knowledgable person when it comes to engines so I just wanna know if I would be able to install it myself. And the intake I was looking at isn't from ebay...I don't trust them.

My 420A does not have Mass Airflow.
You cant add it to a car, since it ties into the OBD II.

Just get an intake without it.

Intake is the easiest install you can ever do. You dont add a MAS. the MAS is the way some cars like mine read air flow coming into the motor. other cars use map sensors which are usually easier to work with. you need an intake that is one peice not the 2 peice. the 2 peice is cause the MAS goes in between.

doNT BUY FROM EBAY. get a Injen or AEM
