Hey, i'm looking to buy a 1995 Eclipse GS-T, but I can't seem to find one with low miles..

How much mileage should be on the car before i buy it? How much is TOO much?

12-15k a year for a regular car dont know if its special for a eclipse.

 

Yeah 12-15K per year is about the average estimate for milage (Unless you're like me I have my car for 2 years and racked up 60K miles on it LOL).

 

I went to buy a gst about a year ago, it was a 97 with 40k... deff too goo to be ture, they were asking 7g. The car was absloutly beat to ****, me and my dad fuigered that it had atleast 190k. Be carefull some kids get daddy to buy them the car from the fast n the ferious and beat the **** out of it, then sell it for a bmw.

 

420's got it pretty close... I wouldnt go much older then a 98 if thats what your looking for... It will be hard to find a good GS-T that hasnt been beat.. Pretty much all of those cars have been rode hard. Theres a lot of things to look for when your gonna buy one.

Dont get me wrong tho... If you find the right one, you will be in love with it and wont want to get rid of it...

 

Hex even if it HAS been beat to **** you might STILL fall in love with it and not want to get rid of it (Thus my position with a '92 I dunno what it is letter wise but it's got a blown 2.0 so it doesn't really matter but it's got skyline taillinghts custom molded in Oooooo baby yeah...)

 

well if you can settle for a gsx my buddy has a 95 gsx with 80000 original miles in perfect condition! wants 7400 though!

 

WOW!!!! A GS-X for 7000? Yo man hook me up with the contact info id def. be interested in that car.
Anyway, a decent eclipse id say anything under about 90k is in good mileage condition. U shouldnt have too much of a problem with anything under that.

 

If you can find a 99 with under 50k, jump on that... They don't come around often with much less then that... And they are usually still running good.

 

I have a '99 Eclipse GS-T which I just rolled 51,000 miles the other day...I bought it a little over 2 years ago with 45,600 miles...It runs very strong and I love the 4G63.
