Default Misfire

Tonight I messed around with my car a bit more to see if I could get it to stop misfiring. No luck. I took the injectors out and cleaned them. The motor has also just been rebuilt. The check engine light blinks a few times and stays on, if I remember correctly thats a type a misfire? If you know of any test I can try to find out what is causing the misfire, let me know please. I forgot to mention that its really boggy below 3k rpm then after that it takes off fine unless I floor it. I was thinking clogged injector thats staying open and flooding the cylinder.

The codes coming up are P0304Misfire cylinder #4 and P0455 which is an EVAP leak that has been on forever so I'm not worried about that. If anyone knows more, please fill me in!!

If the #4 injector is stuck open the plug would be fuel fouled and black. Did you pull the plugs and see what they look like? What plug wires do u have?

One of the plugs did come out black before we tore the motor apart and after. When I cleaned the injectors and put them back in I didn't mark which one came from which cylinder. So I was thinking of pulling all the plugs and replacing what ever ones are black with the clean ones and then whichever of those comes out black is the bad cylinder. Ill take a pic of all plugs too before I swap them around.

Thats in order from the cylinder one the drive belt side to the cylinder on the tranny side.
According to the book the cylinders fire 1-3-4-2 and if you look at the 3rd one from the left there is some build up on it. The wires are the original wires I believe.

If the wires are original then change them.
