Default Misfire on BOOST

I have a 96 GST. Just bought it so I dont know much about it yet. What I do know about it is that it has been raped by a teenager :-0. When I am driving the car without putting the pedal down to hard it runs just fine. When the boost starts kicking in it begins to "studder" or misfire i guess you would say. I have changed the plugs and havent got any further. PLEASE HELP

Also try changing the wires. Any mods to the car like blow off valve?

Is the bov recirculated? How much boost is the car running?

Yes it is recirculated. The cars in running about 16 psi. I would like to take it down to 8-10psi. I took the manual boost control out and rehooked the solenoid dealy but its still pushing 15 psi. What can I don to bump this down? What should I be checking? This is my first turbo car so im kind of in the dark.

Idk on a 2g but on a 1g if you bypass the boost solenoid and go right to the wastgate actuator they run 9-10 psi.

So then I would just hook up the vaccum line off the intake to the hose that goes to the wastgate actuater?

Ok so I have narrowed down the problem. I wastegate actuator is bad and damn near completely siezed up. I cannot find a place to buy one to save my life. Any idea where I could get my hands on one?
