I took my talon for a test drive with my buddy today. Im a responsible driver but he got me cockey and we went out on this 55mph 2mile straight away, i did a a onces back and forth to check for cops. I pulled over and brought my rpms up to 3,000 and launched it, shifted at 7,000 and hit 60mph in 2nd gear at 6,200. I guess i spun the tires cause we went back and there were 4 short strips of black, not really heavy so i obviously did not light them up. It was at 17psi and felt like extremely powerful. He was amazed cause for the past 2 weeks he hasnt been in my car, just his moms civic.lol

 

17 psi isnt too bad to be running. I would run at 15psi just to be safe and not break the t25 too quick. And im guessing then your car is the FWD. On any launch with a FWD i would expect to spin some tire at least, so only alittle is good. Its always fun taking people for drives that arnt used to fast cars

then how the hell did he spin tire at a ****ty 3000 rpm launch. I dont think thats possible

 

its awd. I didnt spin them bad but i did leave some nice balck streaks on the road

 

you can streak 'em.. not burn out. i've done it. it'll only last for a second and you're off though.
