Default Motor mount fix

I was told I have a busted motor mount. Must be the lower mount coz tops looks fine. Is this expensive to fix? I can't do it and I am wondering what it might cost me.

Thanks

Quick question, does the car shift exceedingly hard?

the car won't shift so bad it's more the motor movement that hurts you. motor mounts are a weekend proect i'd say... (if you replace all of them) at least they would be in the 420a. the bottom mount (trani mount on the crossmeember) would be nothing but a 20 min fix though. If i were you, i wouldn't waste my time fixing just one. Go ahead and buy the Urethane Motor Mount kit... i think for all of your mounts its only like 100 bucks. (very cheap in the car world) this will help your car in several aspects 1 wheel hop, 2 under steer, 3 jerking of the car on shifts, 4 helps the motor stay planted. i'm sure there are more benefits but that's all that come to mind.

Thanks, $100 is fine. I will buy the whole kit and have them replace them all. Guess I'll let them get rid of the damn weird indicator light that won't go the F#$% away.

Thanks

well 100 bucks may be cheap for the mounts but i'm sure tha process won't be cheap to do... how many miles are on your car? how long have you had it? has the timing belt ever been changed on it? you may wanna have them do the timing belt, water pump, idler pulley and tensioner pulley while the engine is out. while ur at it, if you plan on having some power on this car down the road (if you have the available funds) you may wanna order a Cometic head gasket to stand up to the force of some real power. the only thing that costs so much about changing the head gasket is pulling the head off but since the motor will be out already i don't see it being that expensive. if it were me i'd have it quoted.... just something to rack yoru brain about.
