so you dont think that i need any ecu upgrades or anything right now? ya its just a gauge that looks like my after market oil pressure and temp and boost gauge but you say its supposed to go rich like that hmmm thats strange i wish we could meet up and u could drive it. then u could see i dont think its just because of the amount of boost but i really dont know anything about turbos the only thing i know is what my mechanic said about getting some kind of upgraded ecu. before i had a dual stage boost controller that wasnt setup corretly but man i miss that power it was just insane before but it also roasted that engine so fast.i really appreciate the feed back you guys are awesome so glad i found this forum

no you dont need an upgraded ECU or a chip. You need a piggyback to tune the A/F ratio a bit. Hopefully you already have upgraded fuel. But once you get the tuning device whether it be an SAFC or DSMlink, and then get a wideband guage then you can really get it running the way its supposed to be. But i would try and do a boost leak test first to make sure there isnt something stupid leaking like a coupling. You can do the test very easily. Just go to VFAQ and it tells you how to make one

i thought you said your running a 16g? if you are i would definetly get a MBC first. And then find out what fuel mods you have. And id get an SAFC II and a wideband o2 guage. Then youll be amazed at the power youll get out of it.

You can find them all over. E-bay, slowboyracing.com, hopupracing.com Just do a yahoo search and you'll find countless stores that sell them.
