so guys it was a crappy day for me today,my car spun all the way through 1st and 2nd gear,i got horrible times,could it be that my car isnt tuned,or because of the tires i have(225/55/16)continentals on factory rims,or is it the way i launch my car?someone let me know,they told me its because its still not tuned

 

you cant punch it in a fwd...it will just spin. you have to ease on the gas untill you feel the tires grip then punch it.

And if you are spinning through gears, then that is driver error too. So your launch needs work.

 

yeah,i ram a 10.056 in the 1/8 mile,completely stock turbo and just a muffler,and yesterday i rana 10.778,lmao,i was so mad i was spinning through the gears,anyone know any real good tires that will work really well?like some type of semi slicks?

 

you could get toyo proxes t1r's, thats what i have and they're supposed to be amazing...

BFG's all the way. NESpeed used them on his Single RX7 and pulled a 1.8 60ft. which I also pulled a 1.84 in my Evo and I was AWD on street tires.
