<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=3>Hello Everyone, Im new to an Eclipse...I sold My 300zx twin turbo...for and eclipse due to how many problems i was having with it..anyways I've had my Eclipse for about 3 months..and i ran it at norwalk for the fist time...and i was like wow is this slow..I was hoping..on some help what i can do to make it faster..Its an GS 99..I've got mods of a full Greddy exhaust, and headder..and an apexi intake..what more mods can i do..links to websites would be great..i know a turbo would be the easiest but dont have the money right now..Please help thanks..</FONT></P>

Sorry i had to move youor post, but you should get more responses on this forum.</P>


For my recommendations, i'd say go stroker. You can find a factory 2.4l 420A block in the Dodge Caravans, a few cloud cars, and other chrysler products. It's quite common, and quite cheap to acquire too. It will drop right into your engine bay, and gives 20% more displacement. Just get one from a junkyard, let a shop clean it up, and then drop it in. IMO, i think it's the next step for the 420A.</P>

..trade it in for a GST orGSX...you have a better starting point..trust me..i had a GS i got soOO tired of the mods..i just went out bought a GST and stuck a few mods on there and im runnin damn near 400hp to the wheels...f** a RS/GS...they're both the same...get a 4G63!!!!!!! whOOOOOOoohOOOOoooo</P>

nuffin wrong with the GS.. I got a 2001 spyder GS.. I put another 10k to get to stage 2 turbo and stuff to make it run like a champ.. if you want performance but dont want spend whole lot on parts get GST or GSX..

...insurance.. add 1 bulls**t ticket for 5 over and it skyrockets. Im 21 this month and I pay 250 a mo. "bend over buddy! cause here comes the *** rapin!"

hehe....I pay the insurance of a non-turbo but I will soon get to have everybit of the fun you guys get to have.<IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">
