Ok i got my engine running, had a vacuum hose tear on me. My CV axle was worn out, so i went and bought one, bringing it to my mechanic... well right outside the mechanics shop, across the street, i'm talking on my phone to my girlfriend, and all of a sudden a large bang and my car drops a few inches. I look outside and my rim and tire are rolling faster than me. I slide about 50 or so feet on my brake. Fun fun. got to spend more money yay.

 

Must be a DSM... thats gotta hurt. Ive been threw my share of cars that have stupid things happen like this[:@]

yeah i was driving to the mechanic, and all of a sudden my car fell down about 5 or 6 inches and i look out the window and my rim and tire were just rolling down the street, went a couple hundred feet. It broke one of the studs and stripped the other four, he put new ones on, turned my rotor and put my cv axle in and fixed my tie rods on both tires for 400 all together including the wrecker which moved me 20 feet. 40 bucks for 20 feet... those a-holes.

LOL.. if only i had dreams of owning a honda instead of a DSM... Be glad ur car wasn't moving all to quick at all when all that happen.

Had a guy with 32" tires on his jeep once. Someone tried to steal the wheels while we were underway. They must not have had a jack big enough so they just took off with the lug nuts on one side. He found out at about 30 MPH when his wheels went rolling and one side dropped to the pavement...
