Is it my test pipe?
Okay, so my brother did the dollar bill test with my exhaust. The bill slightly sucked into the exhaust, meaning thee was a vacuum effect going the wrong way. He concluded this to be a bad exhaust valve. I went catless on my rs, replacing the catalytic converter with a test pipe. I read a while back that going catless on a nonturbo vehicle will dramatically throw off the backpressure, causing rough idle, backfires and even flames when shifting at high rpms.
Could the test pipe, which is reportedly known to screw up backpressure, perhaps be the culprit for the conclusion of the dollar bill test?

is the car not running right? A NA car needs some backpressure and alittle is not a problem. It will also increase from things like removing the cat so its not really anything to be worried about, unless you have other things going wrong with the car. It will make it run allitle rich sometimes (causing backfiring and flames in extreme cases).
Well it idles like its got the flu or something. Maybe the running video will help diagnose?

Just rolling forward and back in the driveway, showin it moves, but you can hear it idle.
