First of my car is a 98 Eclipse GS. When ever i put on any gear and step on the gas paddle the car hesitates. If anyone could help me that would be a great help. thanks.

 

Check the basics plugs andwires. Also do you have a check engine light?

When ever the engine is about to die the check engine light turns on. And as it is about to die i step on the clutch and the engine is back to normal at a slightly higher rpm. How do u go about checking the plugs and wires?

Beings the plugs and wires are so cheap, you just change em lol
