well, to be honest I don't really care too much about this car. I just want it to last till summer. I'll probably change the oil later on, and maybe spray paint it to make it look good. Do you think if I do invest 300 bucks into it (spark/injectors/filter/hoses/maybe cv joints (if they have them?)/oil/fluids) that it'd be worth it, or just a waste of money?

for 300 bucks its not all that bad. If the car is in good mechanical condition with no major problems (the tranny problem shouldnt be that hard) then you should be fine and it would be worth it. It all depends on if you have the cash or not... do you really wanna drive that every day?

lol, no I don't want to drive it every day, but moneys short ATM. I'm wondering how these cars hold up at the track? Mine's a front wheel drive, so ovbiously it's gona be pretty bad, but how are the allwheel drive ones?

For the 1g awd they are great track cars to build up. The 90-92.5 are the best because they have the stronger engine and with quick mods you can run some really good 60 ft's and 1/4 mile times
