Default new convertable top material?

I have a maroon 99 spyder and i want to get a black top and i found a website that sells two types of material... pinpoint vinyl and stayfast... stayfast is the material that is normally on a stock spyder and costs bout 125 bucks more so i was wondering if anyone knew about these types of material and if it matters....please let me know

Do not get the vinyl. Vinyl has like half the life span of the stayfast material if they are both give an equal amount of care. The stayfast stuff is like canvas, right? If you want to see how vinyl looks after a few years, find a cavalier convertible and you'll see how awful it looks.
