Default new to dsm world. simple questions.

hey im leaving the honda scene and getting a dsm. it's a 1998 eclipse gs-t. i just had two simple questions, one is how much boost can you safely run on a stock 4g63 and also what kinda of hp numbers can i expect (whether it's to the wheelsor crank ) from this set up ( the guy has it on the car already) cold air intake, Thermal R&D catback, exhaust dejon tool upper intercooler piping. the car has 84k miles on it and there is no boost controller installed(so he left it at stock boost) which is a good thing. if anyone can answer my questions i'd greatly appriciate it.

Wit a boost contoller and guage, with the mods allready stated, you can run 15psi.

You know I would hate to say an exact number. But you most deff. off to a good start, adding 3psi, you will deff. feel the difference. I have an electronic dual stage boost controller with guage if your interested just p.m. me.

stock internals can hold about 350 HP safely...so they say. but honestly i would just build a 6bolt and make it a beast and swap the two engines out....thats just me tho. oh and put a evo316g or 20g turbo on that ****.

Why would you swap out a perfectly fine engine?.....Understandable to do this if the engine in the car blows, but untill then...Drive what you got. It only has 84k on it.

oh no by no means. keep your engine till it blows, but in the meanwhile build a 6 bolt and drop it in.
