Default new dude

hey peeps, new dude here. i just bought my brothers 98 eclipse 2.4l 112,000 miles with an auto tranny. i have never owned a car like this before (all i have owned are diesel 4x4's) so i just have a few questions about fixing up this car. what does the forum members recommend as far as increasing the rim size from the factory one?( id like to put sum new whips on it you know) can i put a straight exhaust on it without it throwing engine codes? and what are some engine mods i can do to make the car run better and a little faster? personally i love speed and i wouldnt mind taking the local kids' lunch money if you catch my drift! so any advice, input, ideas, or anything at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks and glad to be a part of the forum!

well your car is gonna be alittle slower because of the convertible weight but you can go with a cat-back exhuast. I would go straight through because A. it will run like crap B. sound like crap C. throw an o2 code.

As far as rim size i think 18" is the perfect size for a 2g
