Default New dude with some quick questions

Hey Im Taylor and Im new to the forum. I havent bought an eclipse yet but I'm going to soon hopefully, this guy wont reply to my emails and he keeps reposting the ad, idiot. Anyways when I do finally figure out how to get this guy, I wanted to know what kindof issues arise in these cars? Its a 98 GS and he wasnt very descriptive (i think he bought it tuned out) I can tell there's engine work done. I seem to see alot about bad idling in these cars, is that true? And at how many miles will the car be at when itstarts to need serious repairs like the clutch and all?

Welcome to the forums and try using the search to get a better idea of the different issues you may come across. Also you cant base a car by milage if it needs something. Just make sure it wasnt beaten on and the guy has service records.

On any car, clutches need changing at about 100k.

Can you provide a link to this add? It might be a scam
