Default NEW HEADERS!

i just purchased a set of stainless steel headers w/ the downpipe over the internet, is this something that i can install in my back yard, or is it best to get a professional to do it? also, what can i expect from these headers? i already have a cold air intake, and it sounds like a beast. these headers will make it sound a lot better right? and what kind of power will i get from these? its a 98 eclipse gs.

it's a very very simple operation but MAKE SURE, I REPEAT MAKE SURE THAT YOU SOAK THE BOLTS FOR A GOOD HOUR. the 420a header bolts are known for stripping right off. you won't see much of a gain at all. you say you have a CAI already, do you have a cat-back yet? if not, before you order one off ebay for 125 bucks to save money, realize this. 1. they are not R&D'd at all so the sound quality is TTTEEERRRIIIBBLLLEEE i've only heard 2 in my life. one was on a WRX and one was on a Honda, they both sounded the same and it's exactly what you don't want your honda to sound like (the pissed off bee inside of a coffee can sound). try to find a used Apexi, Greddy or Flowmaster catback. they are great names and have a nice soft rumble.
REMEMBER TO SOAK YOUR BOLTS! oh, and for future reference, it's a header not headers, you only have one.

they're not talking about soaking the actual bolts in oil....they;re talking about b4 you start...spray down the bolts so they come off easier.

sounded like you were confused on what he meant.
