Default New to the import stuff

Hey guys, just bought my 99 eclipse 2.0 non turbo, 5 speed about 3 weeks ago. Just added a cold air intake and some lights. Wondering what would be the best upgrade to do next for more power. Don't have a lot of cash to spend so I am kind of limited on my options. Alright guys please let me know what you think. Thanks

You bought possibly one of the worst Mitsubishi's for power. The only major way to make power on that car is via turbo, and that costs a fair amount.

They have that same car only with a turbo motor in it. They came in a GST (front wheel drive) and GSX (all wheel drive)

Its an economy car, without a wallet, your not going to get any decent power.

Its not like a 351 where you can just throw on an exhaust and cams and get good gains lol

Nice GS, it looks clean! I would go ahead and do cat back exhaust you could always do headers and cams if you want but I would just stick to the basics especially if you don't have a fat wallet.

the reason why they refer to them as being headerS is because they are referencing them to a v8, which has two sets of headers, on a 4 cylinder it would only be one header, make sense?

hey guys thanks for the input. I really appreciate it, I may just see about getting a turbo model later. But for now I think I will just do the header and cat back exhaust. I live in a little hick town so there really isn't anyone to race anyway.
