hey i'm new to the site and the eclipse world, i am 17 and just baught a 1996 mitsubishi eclipse spyder GS and i was wondering what the first mod i should do for it/to it

i seen a roll bar for the spyder, anyone know who makes that or how much it is... i seen it and i think itd look great with the top down

 

how can i tell if my moptor is a 4g64 motor or the 420a motor, cause on the site it says 95- 99 eclipses have 420a, but does the spyder have a diff motor?

 

yes, it does a have different engine.

somebody needs to take a picture of the 4G64 engine. Then somebody needs to take a picture of the 420a engine. Then we need to put those two pictures in the pinned thread to show the difference.

the spyder comes with the 2.4...

 

They go for like $400- $500 I forget the site that sells em ill try and find it again.

 

I kinda like the behind the seat type roll bars though they aren't a true roll bar I guess...

 

i think a mod should take those two pictures and add them to the RS/GS pinned topic. This will let n00bs know which engine they have. Or another topic could be created with these two pictures...
