Just wondering if any of you guys ever used ngk spark plug wires and ngk iridium spark plugs? Are they any good? Are thereany problem using them? Planning to get some, but need opinion from guys that used them before. My car is a 98 eclipse gst.

 

I have a 99 GST and I use the NGK's and they work fine. Unless your current plugs are super fouled or corroded you wont notice much of a difference...just your combustion will be a lot cleaner/smoother.

 

i only run those plugs! they work great!!!

 

I use them in my car as well and they work really good

 

I have heard on DSM Talk that they dont work so well in the 2g turbos.

 

What were the cons on these plugs?

 

I just hear alot about them not working well with the GST/GSXs i hear about it all the time... "My car was running like **** after i changed my plugs.. i couldnt figure it out.. so i went out and got some brand new NGKs and put them in.. the car is back to normal" Just like that!

 

i dont know how your post makes any sense sebba?? they dont work but after switching to ngk it runs fine?? wtf?? i am confused. anyways, they work great! they are good plugs! and i have a gst. they make my car run good. i have used nothing but them.

 

The ngk bpr6es or 7es work well with the turbo 2nd gen depending on ur mod. Also need to gap them correctly. I had the irridum style and wasn't that great so i switch to those.

 

Irridium plugs dont work that great... thats what i was saying
