i dont know what the exact power should be going to the coil pack but basically just see if you get anything to the wires.

your coil pack is probably bad, but you should test the transistor pack too before replacing anything. The process for this is explained in chiltons.

Ok i finally got the coil tested. according to the dude that did it for me (i didnt have any equipment) he said "No switching at the coil" and that it was either the ignition module that is bad... or the ECU.... because he dont know if its ECU controlled or if its controlled by the module.

Can anyone point me point me in the right direction?

Anyone have a part number and price for one of these?

Give me a bit Sebba and I'll post up what I find for you. I think it's the transistor pack or that the issues are coming from the ignition and not the ECU, unless you've recently did something electrical in or on the car. Coilpacks are more likely to go out than the ECU, but you never know. Anyway, give me a bit.

Its the ignition control module that is to the left of the coil that he checked... the thing with the triangular connector
