So, didn't find any wires on the car that were bad, replaced the ECU and the car started right up.

If the ECU was fried i would think it wouldnt show a code since that is was registers them to the scanner. Did you test the crank position sensor btw? I heard you can pull the ECU and smell it for fried internals if its bad.
