I honestly think the 97-99 body style needs a wing to look proportional. Without the wing it just doesnt look right... stick with the turbo wing.

 

i had my wing off for a couple months. liked it for a change (same as people with EVO's and SRT-4's that take theirs off just for change once in a while) but wanted it back on after about 2 months.

 

ya.. I need the stock wing.. It looks ok wingless but it just looks like every other car then^^

 

I showed a picture of a GSX to a girl (shes a car girl), and she says.... "It looks like there is something missing...." then I said.. "The spoiler?" "YES.... "

I showed her a picture of a big ole bench, and she laughed... then I showed hera pic of the turbo wing.. and she just said "Now that looks perfect, like it belongs on the car".

Thats definitive to me lol

 

alright well we'll see what happens, i'm far from that point anyway i just wanted some opinions... does anyone know where to get the carbon fiber lips from? the real unnoticeable one for the front bumper

but i'd rather actually have a urethane lip if they make one just like it. I think that'd be a lot smarter AND cheaper to have a urethane one

 

I still say echostats wingless was badass. And i like wingless on my car as well. But ever car is different. and everyone has different opinions.

So sebba your saying since a girl said it needs a wing then it should have it? Well i guess that makes sense since a 2g eclipse is a girly looking car anyways ......jk

 

haha yea and i love the way wingless looks on a lot of cars... agreed some cars do need something, but i think the eclipse has such a streamlined body that not having a wing works pretty well with it... plus every 2g and their mom has a turbo wing, so it's just something a little different... and when it really comes down to it i can always add one, it's only a few holes drilled... anyway, any word on that lip spoiler?

 

i like my gst without the wing. i think it looks sick. better than the giant shopping cart handle that came on it. man stupid ricers big *** wing on fwd = RETARDED
