Default Need Help on multiple subjects

Hello all. well im in a market for a gently used Mitsu Eclipse preferably 2nd Gen. My dad has a 99 Mirage and i want an Eclipse. now im looking at auto trader and ive read around the forums that the GST is the best type of 2nd Gen Eclipse. is that ture??

So far ive found http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...sp=y&cardist=9 that car. The specs are 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 68,500 mi, air bag, ac, ps, cc, p/windows, pdl, sunroof, loaded with mods! and i want to call the guy to put it on hold for about 6 months (my birthday)

That is another one im looking towards. its only 10G's. Specs are 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 4 cylinder, automatic, air, 42,000 miles, tan leather, all options, moonroof, great sound system, Hahn racecraft Stage II turbo, polyurethane body kit, custom paint, 17" wheels, front mount intercooler, cold air intake, never seen snow, too much to list, call for more pics & info. $25,000 invested, sell for $10,900 East Liverpool,

thank you

i'll keep adding on if i find any thing. also what other places are there to find used cars??

1. gst or gsx are both great. in my opinion awd is more fun and worth looking for even tho it may be harder to find.
2. get manual, even if you dont care now you will realize later you should have.
3. Personally i would stay away from buying modded cars, unless you do a compression test or have it taken to a mechanic and make sure the engine is not abused. Its more fun to do everythin yourself anyway and you will learn a lot about your car.

If you don't know how to drive a manual, why would you be looking at a turbo'd car?
No pun intended, but for safety and practicality issues, drive manual for a year and see how you like it. Especially in the snow.
Turbo's don't like snow as far as traction is concerned.
