Default odd job

can you get to the crank position sensor from the oil pan...like if you drop the pan can you just push it out from the inside...mine broke off inside the block and ive never done any work to the bottom end of an engine before but im assuming the crank isnt far above the oil pan and where the positioning is of this sensor i think it would just push out if i dropped the pan...anyone have any ideas??

I think they had something on working on the bottom end of a 4g63.. You may find what you need in there...
