Default Very odd, two shops couldn't even figure it out

My GF's '95 has always had a problem of "sliding" when connering @ speeds greater than 50mph. It's not that te tires slide, it almost like the body slide off the frame. If you are taking a right hand curve @ 50 mph you will hear a "clunk clank" and the car will feel as if it actually shifted 4 to 6" to the outside of the curve. same thing if you take a left handed curve. If I was to guess it seems as if the wheel hub is comming out of pocket.
She has had it in two diffrent shops both replaced strust & shocks but didn't fix the problem.

Have any of you guys ever experinced anythign like this?
What to look for?

Thanks,
Thomas
