Hi everyone, recently bought a 2008 endeavor. this is our first winter with it. in the fall, the A/C worked well, no issues. Now that it's winter i'm having trouble with climate controls. I have the auto one, it has " 20-25-30" for temp settings. I notice that the air, for the most part, is either hot or warm and the only way to get ANY cold air is to drop it below 19.5 degress. AT this point the A/C kicks in and starts to cool. The thing is...when it's -20 cel. outside, why not just take in the cold air from outside instead of forcing the A/C? this is the only car i've ever seen this happen, i find it very odd. It also happens when on windshied defrost. I called mitsu canada to see if there were any recalls on the car and there is nothing.
