about a week ago i put a boost controller and gauge in my '95 GSX. I turned it all the way up and the highest amount of boost i can get is 13psi. I was trying to get 15psi. Any ideas of why this is happening?

 

is it an ebay boost controller?

 

all the way up? did you screw it in all the way or unscrew it?

 

Yeah im gonna guess, either its broken, or you are turning it the wrong way. If you turned it all the way up, you should be getting some serious fuel cut.

 

its like a turbo x or something. i ordered it from a local tuner shop. i put it all the way towards +. clockwise

the factory pressure release valve tends to leak above 14lbs.

 

are you talking about the factory boost controller? and you need to turn it clockwise to turn up the boost

 

no the blow off valve.

 

make sure that you have it hooked up right also. One hose should go to the wastegate and the other to the turbo. If not hooked up correctly and in the right direction it will cause it to not work correctly. Your stock bov can leak but it should cause it to only run 13 psi.
