Its not possible for me to put a number on that, because every shop is so vastly different.

Honestly, putting that motor together is really simple. With something like this, costing this much money, I would want to put it together myself.

yeah i saw that video a couple of days ago, really not that much to it.

 

Well if you do have someone else do it for you, then make sure you know the person well.

I can't help but think about how a person getting paid $10 an hour will care just as much as you would about how much lbs of torque he puts on the bolts. See what I'm saying? Could get a ring upside down.. who knows.

well really that stuff isn't that expensive, i mean i bought my engine lift for i think 120 and it's a 2 ton jack, so it'll lift it no problem, and my engine mount i'm getting for like 50 to 60 or so.

 

That is not an instructional video on how to assemble an engine. Its merely to show the basics.

You will need to get a manual in order to know the other parts. You need to check clearances, play in components, remember to tq down certain bolts in a certain order with a certain amount of force. All this is gone through in a guide.

 

yeah, if you don't have a manual that has a complete tear-down right now, get away from the computer and go get one. they're extremely helpful.
