Default Opinions PLEASE!!

I have a 1997 eclipse spyder GS. It has about 136,000 miles on a rebuilt engine because my timing belt went a little bit ago. I'm looking into the turbo world and i need some of your opinions on what to do. Do you think it would be worth it to turbo my spyder or just sell my car and save up for a GST/GSX. I know this guy who will buy my car for $4,600, but I don't know what to do. I don't want to put a whole lot of money into it if it is just going to die on me soon. I like my spyder a lot and if it won't be too much of a hassle to turbo it then I would probably like to do that. Can I get some opionions from you guys.

4g64 motor is pretty much a stroked 4g63 (just needs stronger internals to have big potencial) It really is not that hard to turbo the 4g64 as alot of 4g63 parts will work

yeah i think its a great platform to turbo, and like EMonz said that you may want to get stronger internals so you dont blow out anything. if i was in your shoes i would get another 4g64 engine and it up and put it in. then sell the block in it now.

yeah it would definately be a good idea to turbo it. it's a very stout(sp) motor.

ok dont listen to this guy ^^ ur spyder comes with a 4g64 motor. Which you can swap a 4g63 head on and turbo very easily. the money to do a swap from a 420a (which you DON'T have) to a 4g63 is a complete waste of time and money. But since you DON'T have the 420a motor you dont have to worry about it.

Side note: turboing your gs is a "go" from me haha

haha i know...im not that stupid...i know my engine is a 4g64. Sounds from you guys it is a pretty easy process so.. what I guess what i'm really asking is: Is it worth doing on a 136,000 mile rebuilt engine?
