Default Overcoming TURBO LAG?

i have a 1998 GSX .. its is an automatic.... ow can i over come turbo lag on take off acceleration.. Someone told me that buy taking the Over Drive off i can over come turbo lag during accelration from a dead stop? .... Can anyone give me some tips or help me out?

You shouldnt have any with the stock turbo. That thing is so small it spools at idle lol

on the line. Hold the gas and brake so it high stalls and it will start to spool while sitting

there is none I know. but this way he leaces the line at full boost or close to it and he will reasch max PSI by the time the car rolls foward lol

ive drove some autos that seemed pretty laggy out of the hole but nothing like a turbo that seconds as a street vaccum.
brake spool.
all turbos lag some, thats just part of having one.

Power brake. I had my T28 auto chirping and sometimes spinning around 10 mpg when the turbo fully spooled.

its not really turbo lag with the auto's.. Its just the turbo doesnt even start to spool until a certain rpm so it may feel like lag.. But really its not even starting to spool in most cases..

funny thing is.. I get like 10-15PSI off the line with my 2 step and If I really sit on it to get that high I leave the line spinning all 4 and sideways
