paying $750 for HG change what U think?

Guys I need some advice I'm gettingmy HG with timming belt, WP, & tensioner chaged for $750 what do guys think is it a good price?

Well I got a quote on getting the same done 2 my 420a and the shop quoted me near 1k....so it sounds like a decent deal to me.....after i seen rcjr and allgarro"misspelled them probably" do there headgasket changes I plan on doing it myself when i get the cash for the parts.

from a shop, yes, that's a good job but me and a friend of mine did all of that on my 420a about 3 weeks ago and it was pretttty damn easy.

remember also, you get what you pay for. Make sure they know what they are doing because a timing belt is not something you want them to mess up

Yeah man, its not that bad. Just time consuming. It took me about 3 weeks considering the fact that I only worked on it on weekends and some weekends i had no time at all cause i had to work. You can probably do it in a couple days. Not that hard. Have fun, if you decide to do it yourself . Ask us if you have any questions...
