Agreed. I understand that. Basically you can think about this logically, copper is soft, a steel layer head gasket is obviously going to be tougher. There really isnt a lot of difference between one perticular steel multi layer gasket from another one that is steel layered. Slowboyracing should have one. Pick any one of those.

Well if you are trying to prevent it from happening... well its not going to happen within the next 100k miles... you plan on keeping the car that long?

lol, if I can live that long sure. But seriously, that sounds like it may do the trick. I guess If I plan to up the boost down the road I just want to be reassured I'm not pushing things to the limit.

If copper gaskets are going to be soft, and steel are going to be much more tough......why would anyone want copper?

Look im telling you, the OEM head gasket is more than capable. Emonz is running 23 psi with a 50 trim turbo and pushing over 400 HP on a Replacement OEM Headgasket!!

If you are going to pull the head off and are going to eventually run more boost like it was said a multilayered performance metal gasket is the way to go and while you are there you may want to go from head bolts to studs the will not stretch like head bolts.

That is right, I do want to go overkill, I'd rather be safe than sorry in my mind. Let me tell you, if Emonz is pushing 23psi and pushing over 400hp it's a matter of time before something gives, that gasket was designed to hold around 7psi and 200hp. Now granted it can definately support more than 7psi, thats just what it was "rated" for from the factory. I think 20psi is pushing it especially on an OEM gasket, but then again most of the people here are probably more knowledgeable on the subject than I am. So all I'm saying is in my mind instead of relying in something that "should" work fine, I want something that I know "will" work fine.
