Exclamation Please help! Indiana winter and 3 kids! Electrical/no start

Hi all,

I've got a 1995 Eagle Talon (I know, but the Eagle forum was so terrible) that has just 90K miles on it.

It is an AWD, and has been running well. Today at a stoplight it died, and when I went to restart it nothing would happen.

My starter no longer works with the key, I hot-wired it a couple of months ago. The starter still turns the engine fine.

The interesting thing is that none of the dash lights light up with the key in the 'run' position (they all would light normally before this moment). The car has full power, good lights, starter turns quickly, etc.

Two questions:

1. What could be causing this?

2. I've heard there is an engine 'fuse' somewhere under the hood? Where is that so I can check it?

Also, if you know of a PDF of an owner's manual that would be so helpful

thanks,

John, Indiana

Any suggestions on where to start?

Question I have looked at the manual, but still no fuse

I'm still searching for the main engine fuse??? That I've seen referenced in other posts.

Also, I cannot find in the electrical manual the location/layout of the fuse boxes

Help pls?
