i would see how much the payments would be and ask your insurance agent if they can give ya a quote. if payments are less than 300 bucks with a good small amount of years then it'll be harder to decide.

First off there is the aesthetics. I personally think that the 350Z looks like flattened @$$. I think they are a stupidly ugly car that doesn't even REMOTELY hold up the lines and styling that is known as a Z. (I DO have a Z myself '83 280 ZX).

Interior. Small. 2 seater small trunk and no room for anything usefull IMHO.

I do like the fact that they kept it rear wheel drive though. Also Nissan has some of the BEST AC units in their vehicles available on the market.

I'd fix your Eclipse for the simple fact that 3K will get you a 100% rebuilt engine with decent mods and transmission leaving a VERY reliable car with a VERY good kick. It's also a car you know the current limits to and are comfortable driving. The insurance is a factor as well as the payments that will be killing you from the Z.

Valid points Sanguinius, although the A/C comment threw me off, lol.
I agree though. Stick with the Eclipse and a rebuild. You've put a lot of money towards it already, so put more on it, lol.

There are only so many parts to replace. If you've already replaced a bunch then replace the rest and new car baby

well since you never really answered my question that i asked twice lol i'm just gonna have to go ahead and say go with the eclipse. MOST DEFINATLY get a different if not a stock body kit for the car (97-99 looks the best). new turbo manifold, if the engine is still fresh you are good to go there, up your injectors, new turbo, boost controller. there are tons of things you can do!

One thing I've picked up on is that, the guys that have body kits get them to "make" their cars look better (they obviously don't like the stock body or look). I don't get it myself, but then again, look at my car, lol.
I think for a body kit, if you must have one...I would suggest one that is a subtle change and not one that screams, look at me. So, I agree about a different body kit, even though I like the front fascia.

That's true, there are certain circumstances where what I stated isn't true. Only when the owner is willing and doesn't have any "outside" help is when that statement is true...for the most part anyway.
