Aww, so Im here visiting my poor old 2g. 'Jackie' Even though I cant get the damned thing outta park, I figured I may as well get some pics while Im here. It just shows why my life sucks.

Well, at least the inside still looks decent, but of course my head unit and w/b are missing in action. I think my brothers got em in his RX.


You know, from the back... its almost as if nothing is wrong at all!


Sadly, I think I had more to drink than anyone else at that party... and didnt want to risk wrecking my DSM, but the sober x-girlfriend did a better job of that than I ever could have wasted.

 

is it fixable?

 

it looks fixable...dont look like the door frame is bent, just the outer edge is bent back just a tad....

 

That's pretty bad when the DD can be a worse driver than the designated drunk, lol.
What's up with the tranny bud?

 

dead/no batttery = park lock is electronic...

i have a similar story. in my old blue GS i was at a st patties day party (green keg beer, beer pong, circle of death, tree of death, quarters, keg stands, jumping off roof into pool... def the best ever) and i bought a good friend of mine to DD b/c he doesnt' drink. he ended up hitting a tree backing out of the parties driveway and cracking my front bumper on the passenger side... i told him to get out and let me drive. as i stumbled over to the driver side... i made it out and home safely.

 

how did he crack the front bumper if he was backing out of the driveway?

 

exaclty, not the best manual driver but he said he could handle it. was backing out and turned the wheel to sharp/to early and hit a freakin tree... i was pissed the ppl that MOLDED in the bumer wanted to charge me 400 bucks to fix it so i never fixed it and actually ended up selling it that way lol. dumb hick bought i for 6800 bucks. haha

 

Ok, Im sure it IS fixable... I just havent had the time to fix it. The tranny is perfect... in fact its only got about 2500 miles on it, if that. But the alt. is dead. Any ideas on estimates to replace or fix that quarter panel? You cant really see in these pics, but the fender is pretty bad too... as is the passanger headlight. Would it be easier to just replace those panels?
