I've had mmy car for about 5 months, and haven't had any problems with the engine warming up. However, when the weather got cold, I noticed a change in the behavior of the temp gauge. The needle goes to H, then drops....and repeats about 2 more tmes before I get any heat iin the car...it's odd too me. has anyone else experienced this behavior?

 

i never heard of that happening. one thing you could prob do is take it to a dealer and they can get a problem code from the car that might explain wuts goin on.

 

Never heard of it, but seems like you're on the right track. The thermostat would be among my first doubts.

 

yea, could be the thermostat gets stuck.......
