Default Power Steering/Serpentine belt.

Hey everyone I've got a little problem. I bought my 95 Eclipse RS in August of last year, in November of last year my power steering belt broke (Sliced down the middle) so I bought a new one. About 2 months ago it broke again (Sliced down the middle) so I bought another new one. And again 2 nights ago it popped off, just completely came off and when I put it back on and started my car to check it out it started coming off the pulleys and making a weird sound. I'm sure I've got it tightened enough but not too tight. Is there a way to check if my pulleys are bad or has anyone else come across this problem and found a solution? Thanks in advance.

Is the front tensioner the one the belt goes arount that's smooth? The one you have to losen to get the belt on? I'm somewhat car handicapped lol. I'm learning.

i think so, i havent had my rs for almost a year... but the front tensioner has two adjustments on it. the first one is on the right side of it(this loosens the tensioner so you can adjust it), and the other is on the front, this is the one that actually pulls the pulley back or pushes it forward... when i did it i didnt actually loosen the first bolt and "tightening" didnt do anything and my belt still squeeled. once i figured that out it was smooth sailing
