Default pricing help

I am looking at buying a 96 rs. There is some damage to the headlights both front fenders have some dingsand the bumper cover is cracked. It has 126,000 miles on it. The interior is not horrible but its got some damage. I am not quite sure of the engine. I have not been able to take it for a drive yet. I want to know if 2000 would be a good price for a car like this. I am sure it will be like a project car. If so what is a good place to get parts for this car. Like door handles seat covers headlights tail lights front fenders and bumper covers. thanks for any info.

IMO, i wouldn't go with it. $2000 is good, but the car is a NT and wouldn't be the best for a project car. You'd have to spend some more cash to get it going fast than if you bought a Turbo car. But that's my opinion.

If the body is in bad condition, I'm pretty sure the motor is also in bad condition.

First of all thanks for the input. I am mainly interested in the look of the car not so much the speed. Don't get me wrong speed is nice and all but i am more for the looks not so much the race.

You also gotta make sure that the car isn't going to be a lemon and cost you more in repairs than you purchased the car for.

i may be able to talke them down to 1500 and im sure to get it fixed and all might be worth it in the long run. Dont these engines last up to 250 and even 300 thousand miles?
