yeah so i just installed a new window and regulator in my 97' gs spyder because my old one died. the only problem is when i but my top down or up, the window that i put in doesnt go down like it is suppose to. you have to put it down by using the switch on the door panel. my old one also did this and i thought that with a new window and regulator that it wouldnt do it anymore. what is the problem. please help.

 

did you check the window track, it might need to be greased up.

 

sounds like a wiring problem to me. Because if it goes down fine with the normal switch and not with the button for the top, then its gotta just be a bad connection or something is wired wrong. My guess is that it was replaced before and some mechanic didnt properly re-install the wiring. But i have no idea how its supposed to be wired
