Yes and no... I agree that 2 companies aren't going to be much different BUT make sure it's at least a reputable company. If you go and buy an increditly cheap set of pulleys you may end up with a weak metal that could possibly crack or break...But essentially yeah they're all the same they're round and should be cut the same way and be lighter than stock.

The pully is out side of the motor. If you pop your hood their on your left side... its what your belts run on. On the 420a their are a bunch of them but when he is talking about a pully he is talking about the under drive pully. Its located under all of the belts and other pullys at the top of the motor, if you were to get under you car its located right next to the oil pan. The Pullys main job is to spin the belts(its attached to the crank) at the same rate of speed that the motor rotates at. It spings the powerstearing pump, alt., a/c, ect. A good mod to do is get a lighter udp(under drive pully) to reduce rotational mass. Making the car a bit faster, the down side is that all of you acessories wont work as well.... i need a spell check.

yes you are going to need shorter belts. The the a/c and what knot still work... but your ac wont blow as hard, its not a noticable difference, and if you have a system it may start to drain the batt becuase the altinator will take more time to produce the same power.

ITs a involved process... in short you have to get a puller which costs some dough, and you have to remove the front motor mount and drop the motor a lil to get to it. On 2g nt.com they have a walk though for it. If your looking for some speed I would recomend looking it get it from other places first.

i dont know if its the same on the 2G as the 1G. but when i put one on my 90 GS i just took the tire off and removed the plastic cover that went between the motor and the tire. seems like it would be faster than taking the motor mount off. just a suggestion.
