Your car should actually have the t25 on it factory as far as i know so it whould just be a simple raplacement if you are just needing a replacement. I would recomend replaing with atleast a 14g or a 16g(big or small) turbo. The T25 are junk.

Ok to do the T-28 swap some of the upgrades you will need will be. 550cc injectors, 255 fuel pump with a fuel pump regulator so you don't over load your fuel system, and a safc or a GM MAF-T. The good thing to the GM MAF-T is that you can mount inbetween intake and BOV and Vent into the air without messing with your air readings. A FMIC might also be a smart idea to to keep the air cooler going in but don't have to have. What else do you have done to your car? Exhaust, Boost Controller, Turbo Timer, Intake or anything?

okay the SAFC is a SUPER AIR FUEL CONTROLLER and the GM MAF-T GM Mass Air Flow Transmitter. The plus with the gm maf sensor is that you can release to the atmosphere instead of recirculating into the intake. Either way you go it just helps fine tune everything to get the most hp you can. A little tuning and ready to go.
