Yeah man all in your head. Just like when I'm doin 25 MPH in 1st gear and the engine winds up and my mom in the passenger's seat tells me to slow down (Then I point to the speedo and say "speed limit's 35 here mom")

no I thought that at first untill I saw what it was with my boost gauge...the turbo lags longer so when it spools your at higher RPMs and feels quicker when it hits full boost because the RPM range it slightly higher.... at least that was with me cause it made a big difference in lag time

So you're saying that his spool time is going to be shorter recircing? Or will the spool time be longer while recircing?

turbos spool faster when the bov is recirc'd, thats the main reason i keep it that way.when you shift and that air blows out the bov, it gets dumped back into the intake, back into the turbo, and keeps the blades spinning while shifting.

Yup so by venting it you lose the extra air and lag is increased because of that. and like I said on my EVO it was a lot longer lag time and very noticeable but at first I though my car felt wuicker and I think it is because of when your boost kicks in on the power band. but in reality it is slowing you down haveing to wait for a little bit of lag and that rich condition between gears doesnt help either

O.K... I kinda understand now... Sorry I don't know much about turbos. I've only owned 1 and will be getting my second one delivered here soon. So I'm learning as well. Gimme the rest of the engine and I'm good to go LOL...
