im sooo not lookin forward to this but ive been puttin it off for a while and i think its finally time to ask, ok so i have a few questions and problems so im going to number them

1. car will only boost to like 7 lbs at full throttle then after hittin 7 it falls down to 6, think its the wastegate but not sure, usin a greddy boost guage not the stock

2. when the car is cold it will boost up to like 9 and it starts missing real bad, only did it once cuz i didnt wanna blow up my ride.

3. car hits about 5k rpm and it starts missing also

4. check engine lights on and the computer wont tell me why it doesnt read out anything

5. srs is on cuz i took off my steering wheel w/out disconnecting the battery, how do i get it to shut off???

Boost leak, most likely from the stock POS BOV.

I dont know about the second part...

the missing could be plugs or wires. But the non boost sound like a leak to me. At least that would be the first place to start.

 

go make or buy a boost leak tester that should fix that problem. your missing, again, could be from your plugs/wires/distributor. do you have any tuning device on your car or has it ever been tuned?

 

no tuning device because i didnt think it would work right because my ecu is all stupid, i dont even think its the right one for my car,and how exactly do i make a boost leak checker
