Hello I was just looking around the internet and I was curious how much work would it be to put the 4G63T engine into a eclipse gs? Would it be worth it and would my transmission bolt on or do i need to get a new one with the engine? any help or links to a swap like this would be helpful.

 

Trans is completely different. Even from the reg 4g63

 

Is there a front wheel drive only trans for it or is it an all-wheel drive trans?

 

There's two separate front wheel drive trans and an awd trans. The front wheel for the turbo engine has a different bolt pattern then the non turbo
