Does this go with the other post?
I think that other post needs to go here.

Are you talking about lug nut torque specs? If so, the specs are 80-100ft lbs.

Deedeekh, I know your BF is breathing down your neck and is most likely ticking you off...but Sebba is just saying, if you BF is really that impatient over stuff like this, he should put it on with his best judgment. Just about every wheel lug is put on with at least 75ft lbs.
I would recommend a Haynes/Chiltons manual for his next adventure though.

Thanks Silvercoupe for your help. Sorry to mess up the forum...was actually hoping Aaron (paintballproam) was online to help me. He was the most helpful and kindest when I first came here last November as a "noob" needing help with my car.

sebba is right though. Just tighten them down by hand. I dont know many people that actually follow torque specs on wheels.

I do [sm=smiley17.gif]
Not that I can accidentally over torque them by hand, but I might under torque them. The thought of my lugs falling off because of that is just not a good thought in my head...that and I'm **** about stuff like that, lol.
I don't even like it when shops use air wrenches on my lugs just because I don't want my discs to warp.

No worries, you obviously had a monkey on your back. From the simplest tasks on up, one of those manuals is always a good idea to have.
