Default Quick question

Heres the deal, Reverse lights dont work at all, checked the fuse, replaced the bulbs. I cant find the back up light switch/sensor. reading others posts, its on top of the transaxle, which is under the battery & tray,I looked underneith it, and still cant find it. Can anybody explain exactly where its at, and what it looks like? I have the sensor coming in today, so i need to replace it tonight.Pictures would be highly appreciated.

Default RE: Quick question

do you have the manual? if not you really need to get one, it saved me from having to go the the dealer so many times and can teach you alot about your car.

but anyways if you do have the manual, or can go to the parts store and sneak a peak in one, look at section 7A-4. the backup switch is ontop of the trans...if you have the bell housing (the side the cluch sits in where it meets up to the block) on your left, the switch is going to be on the right side furthest away from you on the top of the trans. (and vise versa if the bell housing is on your right)

its probably not connected check that first. and go from there checking to see if you have power going into it but not out with a tester. double check your fuses with a light tester if have havnt in the first place just to be sure.
